Raising the Interrantes

Dear Joey,

You went to the park’s program today and got kicked out. Let’s not forget you’re only six years old. Some kid told you that ” nobody wants to play with you” so you kicked him in the balls. I can’t even lie and say I’m mad at you for what you did because I’m not. I’m proud of you for being fearless against kids twice your age and size and never letting anybody fuck with you. Now did I tell you this? Kinda. But I also told you next time go tell the CIT that someone is being mean to you instead of kicking them in the balls.

The counselor called me and told me I had to come pick you up, so I did. On the way home I told you that you can’t hurt people at the parks program you need to keep your hands to yourself. your response was ” okay ill only hit people at home” and i said … No, you can’t hit people ever, anywhere, unless they hit you first. You said, ” aww so where can I fight people?” and I just laughed. I explained to you that if you play football, you can tackle people or if you do wrestle you can wrestle people. I think it’s time we sign you up for some contact sports.
